Personal/Professional Assistant needed to serve a variety of functions including:
• Research analyst - exploring opportunities for business/personal development, cost savings, and strategic directives
• Teacher’s assistant - grading papers and organizing coursework
• Assistant project manager - driving complimentary initiatives to facilitate personal and business needs
• Marketing - developing and producing promotional materials
• Personal liaison - planning events, managing logistics, coordinating/facilitating travel arrangement, and running other errands
Specific focus areas and workload will vary by season and range from 5-10 hours per week. Work location will vary; assignments can often be done from home but may involve travel to/from/between NY and NJ (once a month, at most).
Ideal candidate would be an upper-class college student, recent graduate, or other similarly-capable individual interested in a part-time supplemental opportunity and quality reference.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated mastery of the English language (writing samples may be requested) (advanced)
• Microsoft Word proficient (advanced)
• Exemplary organization and leadership abilities (advanced)
• Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) (advanced)
• Strong interest and desire in personal/professional development
• Flexible with regard to variation and change; comfortable in fast-paced situations/scenarios
• Socially-savvy and diversity-appreciative, able to seamlessly interact in groups of religious and ethnic minorities, GLBT adults and youth, differently-abled individuals, predominantly male or female presence, etc.
• Creative talent and keen on design, preferred (beginner)
• Valid Driver’s license, preferred
